Membership Terms and Conditions: On becoming a member of the Creative Industry Association® (“us”, “our” or “we”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which govern our relationship with you. The information you provide to us at the point of registration is important and you hereby warrant that such information is accurate, true and up to date. You also undertake promptly to inform us of any changes to the information provided.
Membership: Creative Industry Association® offers a range of membership packages, details of which can be found on https://creativeindustryassociation.org/membership-levels/ .
All individual members must be at least 18 years of age and Creative Industry Association®reserves the right to refuse any application for membership or renewal. Creative Industry Association® may end your membership at any time if, in the reasonable opinion of Creative Industry Association®, you are in breach of any of these terms and conditions. If you wish to terminate your membership of Creative Industry Association®, please notify firstname.lastname@example.org .
Membership Benefits: Full details of the membership benefits being offered can be can be found at www.creativeindustryassociation.org. Membership benefits may change and, where possible, will be publicised on the website.
Membership Fees: Details of the membership fees can be found at https://creativeindustryassociation.org/membership-levels/. Fees are charged on an annual basis – no part-year subscriptions are offered. Creative Industry Association® reserves the right to increase the membership fee on a yearly basis and you will be informed of any increases in your renewal application. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any third parties. Such details will only be used for the purpose of processing your membership payment. If you cancel your membership or if your membership is terminated for cause by us, no refund will be given.
Password and Security: One of the benefits of Creative Industry Association® membership is enhanced access to the Creative Industry Association® website (www.creativeindustryassociation.org). After acceptance of your membership application, you will be issued with a unique membership number and asked to create a password. You covenant that you will keep this password confidential and will not disclose or share it with anyone. Please note that you will be responsible for activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you are responsible for notifying us immediately. Access to the membership area of our website is for named individuals only and is password protected. Password and login details are non-transferable; anyone found sharing their password and login details will have their membership immediately terminated without refund of fees.
Event and Ticket Sales: Registered members may be able to purchase discounted tickets for Creative Industry Association® conferences and events (Creative Exchanges) from us or our subsidiaries or related companies. Prices and availability are subject to change. In the event that we are unable to hold an event, members will receive a full refund of any tickets purchased. No refund will be given if members cancel their tickets. If we discover an error in the prices quoted on the website we will inform you as soon as practicable and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. Events, conferences or other services provided by third parties may be subject to terms and conditions of the respective third party. Creative Industry Association disclaims any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage suffered as a result of the provision of any service by a third party. It is understood and agreed by you that you will not be entitled to disseminate any promotional literature or analogous paraphernalia at any Creative Industry Association® conferences or events.
Third Party Sites: The www.creativeindustryassociation.org site contains links to third party online resources. We do not endorse, approve or sanction (unless otherwise stated) nor are we responsible for any third party’s products, services, acts or omissions. There is no association or connection between us and the third party (unless otherwise stated) save for the provision of the link. We do not act in partnership with nor as agent for or on behalf of the third party to whom we provide links. Accordingly, neither party may incur any debt or liability on behalf of the other party.
Disclaimer: Creative Industry Association® does not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay or failure to comply or meet its obligations under these terms and conditions as a consequence of any event or cause which is beyond our control.
Our Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we, our employees, affiliates, agents or other representatives be liable for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect, consequential, loss of profits, loss of confidential or other information and/or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions and/or your membership of Creative Industry Association®. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that Creative Industry Association® is found liable in respect of any claim, our maximum liability is limited to the membership fee paid by the member bringing the claim.
Compensation: You hereby undertake to indemnify us against any loss or damage suffered by us as a result of any breach by you of any of these terms of conditions.
Termination of Membership: If we terminate your membership or you choose to end your membership with Creative Industry Association®, you must immediately remove the Creative Industry Association name and logo from any publicity material, website and/or other medium on which you have included the name and/or logo on.
As a consequence of ceasing to be a member, you will no longer have any access to the benefits offered by Creative Industry Association® or it collaborative partners. We will remove all reference to you or your company from our materials and website.
Third Party Rights: None of these terms and conditions may be enforced under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a party other than you and the Creative Industry Association®
Law: These terms and conditions and any disputes arising from or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of England and we and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
